Caliste "Caliste" Henry-Hennebert is set to play for Karmine Corp in the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) next season. The 18-year-old signed a three-year contract with the French organisation last year but was unable to appear in the LEC due to the 18-year-minimum rule.

Caliste is one of the biggest names in the European LoL esports scene, and as it appears, the 18-year-old is set to make his LEC debut in the 2025 season.

The French ADC started his esports career in February 2021 with Otterz Esports before playing for Omerix, Mirage Elyandra, and ViV Esports, which was his last stop before signing a three-year-contract with Karmine Corp before KC's arrival to the LEC.

However, despite signing for Karmine Corp, he was unable to play for the French team in Europe's top league due to the age restriction. Nevertheless, KC intended to promote the young talent to the LEC roster, so Caliste joining the top flight comes as no surprise.

Despite the expected promotion of Caliste, reports suggested the current European champions, G2 Esports, approached Karmine Corp to sign the 18-year-old.

Some sources stated G2 Esports considered offering support Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle, ADC Steven "Hans Sama" Liv, and jungler Martin "Yike" Sundelin on top of a buyout for Caliste. However, this deal did not happen.

Caliste's promotion to Karmine Corp's LEC roster will see the French LoL esports player reunite with support Raphaël "Targamas" Crabbé. The duo played together in 2023, and they led Karmine Corp to LFL 2023 and European Masters 2023 Summer titles.

Karmine Corp have yet to confirm any additional roster changes before the start of the 2025 LEC season; however, it is not unlikely more swaps are on the card.

Caliste joining LEC is one of the most notable news about the 2025 LEC season to date, along with the reported MAD Lions KOI's signing of Joseph Joon "Jojopyun" Pyun.

The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2025 season will kick off in January 2025 with LEC 2024 Winter. The league will welcome the same ten LoL esports teams; however, no organisation has yet to officially confirm their starting five.
