On Friday, October 6, 2023, BetBoom Team announced the signing of Viacheslav "innersh1ne" Britvin, who joins the team as a new head coach. Innersh1ne has previously served as a coach for Aurora Gaming and spent two years as an analyst for FaZe Clan.

The 29-year-old Counter-Strike coach has spent just four months with Aurora who he led through only one LAN event, at PARI Dunav Party, where Aurora placed fifth-sixth following losses against 9Pandas and Virtus.pro. During his stint with Aurora, innersh1ne hasn't accomplished and suffered many early-tournament exits, whereas his best tournament placement was top-four at CCT East Europe Series #2.

As noted by innersh1ne, his lack of accomplishments at Aurora were due to a lack of synergy between him and the team's in-game leader, as well as a lack of experience as a coach. However,  despite the lack of success in his last coaching endeavour, innersh1ne joins BetBoom Team as a new head coach.

"I'm glad to join BetBoom Team! It's clear that the guys are motivated and ready to grow. I've been training the boys for a few days now, and I'm full of enthusiasm! Vlad is an amazing in-game leader, and I'm really excited to work with him."

Besides the signing of innersh1ne, BetBoom Team also acquired Pavel "Dart" Chuvashev from 9Pandas as a team manager, finalising its Counter-Strike team ahead of Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023, where innersh1ne will make his debut as BetBoom Team coach.

IEM Sydney 2023 is set to kick off on October 16, welcoming 16 Counter-Strike teams who'll compete for the lion's share of the $250,000 prize pool and a direct invite to IEM Katowice 2024. BetBoom Team were seeded into Group A alongside VERTEX ESC, MOUZ, Apeks, Natus Vincere, GamerLegion, FaZe Clan, and Team Vitality, who BetBoom Team will face in the first round of the group stage.
