Counter-Strike bookmakers have BIG priced as 1.08 favourites to defeat BOSS, who enter the match as 7.00 underdogs. Even though BIG are not one of the top teams attending the tournament, it's easy to see why they're priced as such big favourites.

  • BIG (#37) are better ranked than BOSS (#72)
  • BIG are 6-4 across their last ten games
  • BOSS have won eight of their last ten series

Head to Head

BOSS and BIG have never met before.

BIG Form

BIG enters ESL Pro League Season 19 as one of the weaker Couter-Strike teams and are not expected to make it very far. However, considering the group they were seeded in, BIG actually has a realistic chance of making it to the next stage.

The German Counter-Strike esports team have not won a single tournament since December 2023 and haven't looked very good across the last month. In March, they placed top eight at BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024 and later added a fourth-place finish at Skyesports Masters 2024 and a semifinals appearance at Thunderpick World Championship 2024: European Series #1 just over a week ago.

Over that stretch, haven't beaten any great teams, but they did pick up wins against GamerLegion and FORZE, who are the only notable squads BIG defeated.

Ranked no.72 in the world and no.6 in North America, BOSS enter ESL Pro League Season 19 as one of the main candidates to crash out of the event in the group stage. Like BIG, BOSS haven't won a single CS tournament in 2024, although they appeared in only two notable events.

In February, BOSS exited Ace North American Masters Spring 2024 in fifth-sixth place, and in March, ended their journey through PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: American RMR in ninth-12th.

Form-wise, BOSS are in a fine spot. They've won eight of their last ten series; however, they've played only domestic opponents such as NRG, Mythic, FLUFFY AIMERS, and Limitless. So even though BOSS have been winning games, they've not had a chance to face off against a tougher opponent.

BOSS Squad & Team News

No new changes for BOSS.

  • Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue
  • Justin "FaNg" Coakley

BOSS are not even one of the strongest teams in North America, which alone is a good enough reason to doubt their quality and ability to defeat BIG. However, at the offered price, you have to start considering whether BIG are a bit overrated.

BIG haven't really done much this season, and their recent form isn't great. So even though BIG will likely win, BOSS to keep the series within ten rounds looks like a more inviting choice.
