On Saturday, January 6, some of the most successful Brazilian Counter-Strike players reunited under the O Plano banner. The news comes ahead of the PGL Major Copenhagen qualifiers, where the Brazilian lineup will chase a ticket for the first CS2 Major.

O Plano's new roster features known names from the Counter-Strike history, including Major-winning trio Lincoln "fnx" Lau, Epitacio "TACO" de Melo, and Fernando "fer" Alvarenga. They'll link up with Ricardo "boltz" Prass and Vito "kNgV-"Giuseppe who was a part of the previous O Plano lineup.

The announcement of the formation of O Plano's new roster marks the return to pro play for all five players, who have been out of action for varying times. Boltz, TACO, and kNgV- were last seen competing in October 2023, whereas fnx and fer return to action after two and 18 months.

Of the five players, fnx has been out of CS scene for the longest. He made his last appearance at Intel Extreme Masters XVII – Cologne with Imperial Esports, with who he ended the tournament in 17th-20th place.

O Plano's project is reminiscent of the Last Dance lineup, which was put together by Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and quickly acquired by Imperial Esports. The Brazilian roster made some noise in the CS scene by reaching Antwerp Major but failed to make the playoffs.

Like Imperial, O Plano fields some of the most successful Brazilian players, the former Luminosity and SK Gaming core outside of Marcelo "coldzera" David and FalleN

Like the previous project, which reunited the top names from the Brazilian scene, O Plano aims to qualify for the upcoming PGL Major Copenhagen Major; however, it remains to be seen how long the project will last as it's formed only from CS veterans. Boltz is the youngest player on the roster at 26 years, while fnx is the oldest at 33 years.

O Plano will debut in the upcoming RMR tournaments, set to start on January 8, 2024.
