Counter-Strike betting sites have Eternal Fire priced as 2.10 underdogs and Astralis at 1.66 for the upcoming series. Both teams have shown immense improvement recently, so it all comes down to which team you believe will step up on Tuesday.

  • Astralis made the semifinals of the IEM Chengdu 2024
  • Eternal Fire reached the playoffs at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024
  • Both teams have a lot more to prove

Head to Head

Astralis and Eternal Fire have yet to meet this season.

Eternal Fire Form

Eternal Fire made some noise in March when they exceeded expectations and reached the playoffs of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024. It was an impressive feat for the Turkish Counter-Strike esports team, especially since they had to start the tournament in the Opening Stage.

In the first stage of the Major, Eternal Fire defeated The MongolZ, paiN Gaming, and GamerLegion and then added impressive wins against Team Vitality, Virtus.pro, and FaZe Clan in the Elimination Stage. Unfortunately, their run came to a stop in the quarterfinals, where Eternal Fire lost to the eventual champions, Natus Vincere.

Considering Eternal Fire haven’t shown much before the Major, it’s fair to say their run was a fluke. Still, they performed well and took down some of the top CS teams in the world, which can’t be ignored.

Eternal Fire Squad & Team News

Eternal Fire have not made any recent roster changes.

  • İsmailсan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş
  • Buğra "Calyx" Arkın
  • Engin "MAJ3R" Küpel
  • Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın
  • Özgür "woxic" Eker

Astralis Form

Astralis, like Eternal Fire, exceeded expctations recently. They didn’t reach the PGL Major Copenhagen, but left a strong statement with their run to the semis at Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2024.

In China, Astralis defeated Virtus.pro and FaZe Clan in the group stage and added a 2-1 victory against Team Liquid in the quarterfinals. Unfortunately, they ran out fo steam in the semis, where Astralis lost to FaZe Clan in three maps, and ended the tournament in third-fourth place.

Astralis’ recent resurgence is promising; however, their run at IEM Chengdu was the only notable tournament performance we’ve seen from Astralis in months.

Astralis Squad & Team News

No changes for Astralis

  • Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz
  • Victor "Staehr" Staehr
  • Martin "stavn" Lund
  • Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
  • Alexander "br0" Bro

This is a match between two Counter-Strike teams that recently found some traction and even defeated some of the world’s best teams. Both have also not accomplished much over the last few months, so it’s fair to say they’re about equally as strong.

Astralis are priced as favourites, which makes some sense as their run at IEM Chengdu 2024 came later than EF’s performances at the Major. But even though Eternal Fire haven’t played a game in a month, it’s hard to justify saying Astralis are the stronger team.
