On Friday, December 29, BLEED Esports announced the signing of  Josef "faveN" Baumann, who is the third addition to the new Counter-Strike team. BLEED have previously signed coach Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović and Hampus "hampus" Poser, needing three more players to round up the lineup.

At the end of November, BLEED Esports announced its foray into the Counter-Strike esports scene with the addition of coach kassad and in-game leader hampus. Led by a prominent coach, kassad, BLEED are still in the process of building the CS division, but the pieces are slowly coming together.

"Now under the BLEED banner, faveN is eager to test his mettle against the game's elite once again. BLEED's ambition to compete at the highest level is evident, and faveN's experience and skillset provide a vital piece of the puzzle."

FaveN is an experienced Counter-Strike player who started his career in September 2016 with FAB Games eSport.

He has since played for numerous teams but is mostly known for his time at two German Counter-Strike teams, Sprout and BIG. FaveN has spent the last six months benched from BIG following the team's roster overhaul in June.

During his stay at BIG, faveN averaged a 1.05 performance rating; however, he has struggled to live up to the expectations this year, failing to win any tournaments. His most notable accomplishment of 2023 was a runner-up finish at BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2023, which followed BIG's semifinal run at Elisa Invitational Winter 2023.

FaveN joining BLEED now leaves the Singaporean team with three more spots to fill ahead of the PGL Major Stockholm RMRs, set to kick off in January 2024. There are no reports of who might sign with BLEED, but more information should become available in the coming weeks.
