FaZe Clan vs Imperial Esports Predictions

FaZe Clan and Imperial Esports will clash on Tuesday, April 22, for the second time this season and the first time since March, when FaZe won. And according to the esports betting odds, FaZe Clan are expected to win again.

  • FaZe Clan have recently won Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2024
  • Imperial Esports have won just one C-Tier tournament this season
  • FaZe Clan (#1) are higher rated than Imperial (#18)

Head to Head

Imperial last met with FaZe Clan during PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, when FaZe Clan won in three maps.

  • FaZe Clan 2-1 Imperial Esports – March 23, 2024

FaZe Clan Form

FaZe Clan are in excellent form, and have been for months now. Not only have they won IEM Chengdu 2024 at the start of the month, but FaZe Clan haven’t placed worse than second across the last six S-Tier tournaments.

That includes a silver medal from the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and IEM Katowice 2024, and two runner-up finishes at BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 at the tail end of 2023.

Even their results are nothing short of impressive, with just two losses across the last 12 fixtures – against Astralis and Natus Vincere. Over that stretch, FaZe Clan have dropped a few maps, but mostly against tougher opponents.

FaZe Clan Squad & Team News

FaZe Clan have not announced any changes.

  • Helvijs "broky" Saukants
  • Finn "karrigan" Andersen
  • Robin "ropz" Kool
  • David "frozen" Čerňanský

Imperial Esports Form

Imperial Esports’ form is not terrible. They’ve won 14 of their last 18 series, which is a very impressive number. However, they’ve also played mostly local teams, who can’t compare to FaZe Clan.

So while Imperial Esports have achieved some success domestically, with two silver medals from RES Latin American Series #1 and Series #2, perhaps a better indication of how they’ll do at ESL Pro League Season 19 is their 12th-14th-place finish at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.

Likewise, Imperial Esports haven’t looked good at BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024 at the start of March, when they placed ninth-16th.

Imperial Esports Squad & Team News

No changes for Imperial Esports.

  • Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo
  • Henrique "HEN1" Teles
  • João "felps" Vasconcellos
  • Kaiky "noway" Santos
  • Lucas "decenty" Bacelar

FaZe Clan are priced as favourites for a very good reason. They're in excellent form and have very impressive results from some of the toughest Counter-Strike tournaments. On the other side, Imperial Esports haven't accomplished much in S-Tier events and their only notable achievements come from domestic tournaments.

Last time out, Imperial won a map against FaZe Clan, and it could happen again. But FaZe are now in much better shape, so it's fair to trust them to cover the map handicap.
