Counter-Strike betting sites have Complexity priced as 1.55 favourites to defeat Fnatic, who enter the match as 2.30 underdogs. Complexity have won a lot more this season, which explains the offered price.

  • Complexity are one of the strongest teams at YaLLa Compass 2024
  • Fnatic have yet to show their true form
  • Complexity should win

Head to Head

Complexity and Fnatic have yet to meet with their current lineups.

Fnatic Form

Fnatic are down 0-1 after losing to BetBoom Team (7-13) in their first match of YaLLa Compass 2024. That result doesn’t do them any favours ahead of Fnatic’s clash with Complexity, who’ve shown a lot more this tournament and over the last few weeks.

Fnatic held on relatively well against BetBoom in the first half, which they finished 5-7 down, but then completely collapsed on CT-side, managing just two rounds.

The recent signing, Benjamin "blameF" Bremer was the top performing player on the team, with a 1.07 performance rating followed by Matúš "matys" Šimko with 1.04, whereas their teammates failed to keep up, averaging a 0.86 rating and below.

Performances like that suggest that Fnatic should have no business beating Complexity, although it’s also fair to say that most of Fnatic’s roster performed unusually poorly on the day. So, there is room for improvement.

Fnatic Squad & Team News

No new changes for Fnatic.

  • Aurélien "afro" Drapier

Complexity Form

Complexity are on a run. They won their first two games of YaLLa Compass 2024 against Eternal Fire and BIG without any major issues.

While Complexity had to work a bit harder to defeat Eternal Fire (16-13), they had a very easy time taking down BIG, who they beat 13-5 with a convincing performance, which just further confirmed why Complexity are one of the strongest Counter-Strike esports teams attending the event.

Now they’re set to face Fnatic, who might be stronger than BIG, but not significantly better, which explains why Complexity are expected to win their next series and all but guarantee a spot in the next stage.

Complexity Squad & Team News

No changes for Complexity.

  • Ricky "floppy" Kemery
  • Michael "Grim" Wince
  • Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli
  • Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski

Verdict

Fnatic are capable of much more than what they showed in their first match of YaLLa Compass 2024, but they’re not at the same level as Complexity, who have been in excellent form for a couple of months now.

Even though Fnatic will find more traction sooner than later, this is not a match where I’d put too much faith in them. At 1.55, Complexity are priced fairly and are a solid bet.
