Imperial Esports And FURIA Receive Direct Invites For BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2023

On Tuesday, September 5, BLAST revealed FURIA Esports and Imperial Esports as two directly invited teams for BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2023. The tournament is set to take place on October 4-8, welcoming eight Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams who'll fight for the lion's share of the $67,500 prize pool, BLAST Premier points and an invite to BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023.

At BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2023, FURIA and Imperial Esports will join Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, Complexity, Fake Natty, and The MongolZ, who have already qualified for the event.

Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, and Complexity have all earned a spot at the tournament through BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023 after failing to secure a top-six finish and a direct invite to the Fall Final.

Fake Natty, qualified for BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2023 through TG Masters Fall 2023, which the Brazilian squad won in August while still playing under 00 Nation, before Marcelo "coldzera" David and co. went their separate ways and formed a new team.

The MongolZ are the only team not from the Americas, having qualified for the tournament by winning the 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2023 at the end of August.

The only remaining spot at the BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2023 will be awarded to the winners of Ace North American Masters Fall 2023, a North American CS:GO tournament slated to kick off on September 7, 2023. 

The event will welcome eight teams: Mythic, Nouns Esports, Party Astronauts, Wildcard Gaming, Forsaken, Zomblers, Reason Gaming, and Bad News Bears. The tournament will conclude a month before the Fall American Showdown begins.

Ace North American Masters Fall 2023 will run from October 4-8 and feature a single-elimination bracket with all games played as best-of-three (Bo3), including the grand finals. The winners will take home $20,000 and a direct invite to BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023, slated for November 22-26 in Copenhagen Flames, with a $425,000 prize pool.
