On Tuesday, January 9, 2024, MOUZ announced the signing of Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin, who joins the European Counter-Strike team on a loan. The 21-year-old will continue playing for MOUZ, who he last represented at BLAST Premier: World Final as a temporary replacement for David “frozen” Čerňanský.

MOUZ have yet to find a permanent replacement for David “frozen” Čerňanský, who left for FaZe Clan in early December. However, the European CS squad initially called up NiP’s rifler Brollan to help MOUZ at BLAST Premier: World Final and will continue playing with the Swede, who has now signed a contract with MOUZ.

As confirmed, Brollan joined MOUZ only on a loan following a strong showing with MOUZ in Abu Dhabi. Despite being out of action for months, the Swede stepped up and posted a 1.10 rating for MOUZ in the semi-finals of the event, where MOUZ lost against FaZe Clan.

Even though Brollan stil has much to prove following a rough period with Ninjas in Pyjamas, he fit in quickly with MOUZ and proved he still can perform at the top level. This earned him an extended stay with the European squad, who he’ll represent in the 2024 season and possibly secure a more permanent contract.

“My Goals for 2024 are that I want to try to be at the top again as an individual player and also to win some trophies with the team. I know that’s gonna be a tough task, but I really want us to be a contender team for titles. MOUZ is a very good team, and I want to help them stay at the top.”

MOUZ Are Ready For The 2024 Season

MOUZ’s first game of the 2024 season will take place in the closed qualifiers for the European RMRs, scheduled to kick off on January 18-20. MOUZ enter the qualifiers as the highest-ranked team, ahead of Team Spirit, Astralis, and Eternal Fire, MOUZ’s main competitors.

In February, MOUZ will also travel to Katowice, Poland, for Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2024, where they’ll compete for the lion’s share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and direct invites to IEM Cologne 2024 and BLAST Premier World Final.
