Team Falcons rebuilt their lineup at the end of 2023, signing a very competitive roster, which had a rough start together. Team Falcons debuted the new roster at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, where they didn’t accomplish much and exited the event in ninth-12th place.

At BLAST, Team Falcons lost against Astralis, crushed OG, and got eliminated by Team Vitality. While going 1-2 isn’t great, the Falcons had to play fairly tough teams. On a more positive note, Team Falcons looked better in the group stage of IEM Katowice.

After losing to Eternal Fire in the group stage opener, Team Falcons defeated Rebels Gaming, Complexity, and Natus Vincere. Their win against NaVi was the only notable result, considering they dropped maps against Rebels and Complexity.

And yet, while the Falcons haven’t shown much yet, they’re expected to defeat ENCE.

ENCE had to rebuild their Counter-Strike roster at the end of 2023 when they lost three key players – Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, Pavle "Maden" Bošković, and Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia – to Team Falcons. Surprisingly, ENCE decided to sign a Polish core, formerly of 9INE, which wasn’t expected to do well. Yet the new squad exceeded expectations.

ENCE looked much better than expected in the group stage of IEM Katowice 2024. They first defeated Team Vitality, then swept G2 Esports, and in the final round, ENCE had to admit defeat to MOUZ.

It was a bad loss, with 5-13 and 3-13, proving that ENCE might not be ready to take on the top teams. However, considering how good they’ve looked in the two games leading to the Group B finals, ENCE are not to be ignored.

Team Falcons v ENCE

Team Falcons are priced as favourites to defeat ENCE, which doesn’t make much sense. Both teams have shown a lot during the IEM Katowice 2024 group stage, but there’s no denying that ENCE looked better. They defeated Team Vitality and G2 Esports, whereas the Falcons’ only notable victory came against Natus Vincere.

Admittedly, the Falcons produced a better showing in their most recent game, against NaVi, than ENCE against MOUZ, but we shouldn’t put too much focus on one game. ENCE have the tools to defeat the Falcons, but realistically, this is a 50/50 fixture.
