Team Liquid Officially Add cadiaN

On Wednesday, December 6, Team Liquid officially announced the addition of Casper "cadiaN" Møller to the Counter-Strike roster. The 28-year-old Dane was previously rumoured to join Liquid as a part of a major roster rebuild, which is slowly coming to an end.
Former Heroic in-game leader has joined Team Liquid shortly after the North American esports organisation added Felipe "skullz" Medeiros and coach Wilton" zews" Prado. With the three additions, Team Liquid are only one more player short of completing their new Counter-Strike roster.
CadiaN was recently involved in Heroic's drama, which led to his departure from the organisation after nearly five years. CadiaN parted ways with Heroic at the start of October and was since linked with several teams, but as reported last month, the Dane has reached an agreement with Team Liquid – which was confirmed on Wednesday.
The same reports that linked cadiaN with Liquid also stated that the North American squad are close to singing Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken. The Canadian Counter-Strike pro player left FaZe Clan at the start of December, and while he has yet to confirm he's joining Liquid, his arrival to the NA squad is now all but confirmed.
A New Project
By acquiring skullz, zews, cadiaN, and Twistzz, Team Liquid rebuilt its Counter-Strike roster, keeping just two players in Keith "NAF" Markovic and Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis, who have been with the team since 2018 and 2020, respectively.
Yet while all additions will benefit Team Liquid on their quest to bounce back from a disappointing run through the last 12 months, cadiaN's arrival might be the most impactful. He will solve two major problems for the team, namely the lack of an in-game leader.
Since the departure of Nick "nitr0" Cannella, Team Liquid have not had a proper IGL and have struggled as a result of it. YEKINDAR was assigned the position of an in-game leader, but it has not helped Liquid achieve any notable results.
Moreover, the signing of cadiaN solves Liquid's AWP problem following the departure of Josh "oSee" Ohm, who left the team to join NRG Esports.
With the addition of cadiaN, we're now left waiting for Liquid to confirm the signing of Twistzz, who is expected to be announced as Liquid's new player in the coming weeks – before BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, where Team Liquid are expected to showcase their new roster.
