ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 is confirmed for December 11-17
The Dota 2 tournament will take place at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre
12 Dota 2 teams and a $1,000,000 prize pool

ESL announced that ESL One Kuala Lumpur will return in December 2023. The tournament will welcome some of the world’s best Dota 2 teams at the Malaysian capital, where they’ll fight for the lion’s share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.

When Is ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023?

ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 has been confirmed to kick off on Monday, December 11. The tournament will span for one week and conclude with the grand finals on Sunday, December 17.

Where is ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023?

The end-of-the-year Dota 2 tournament will travel to the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. Unlike the previous ESL One events, ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 will not take place in a stadium but rather at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), the largest exhibition centre in Malaysia.

We’re still nearly three months away from the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 kick-off; however, the tournament organisers have already revealed details about the tickets, which will go on sale on September 21

The tournament organisers have not announced how many tickets will be sold; however, we know that MITEC has a 20,000 capacity, suggesting that the number of tickets available will be close to that number.

A lot of information about ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 has yet to be revealed, including which teams will compete in the tournament and the prize distribution between the teams. However, we know that the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 will welcome 12 Tier-1 Dota 2 teams, of which only eight will advance to the playoffs and compete for the lion’s share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.
