Nigma Galaxy unveiled their new Dota 2 roster on Friday, January 5, featuring four new players. After signing Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan in December, Nigma Galaxy finalised the lineup with Danieh Chan "Ghost" Kok Hong and Roman "rmN-"Paley.

Nigma Galaxy have gone through a very shaky period since the end of the 2023 season. After struggling to accomplish much last year, Nigma Galaxy parted ways with Yuma "Yuma" Langlet and Kasra "Mikey" Mesbah, as well as long-standing member Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov.

On the same day, Maroun "GH" Merhej announced he is taking an indefinite break from competitive Dota 2, leaving Nigma Galaxy with just one active player in Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi and Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi who was an inactive member for the past year.

Fortunately, things turned around by the end of the year. Miracle- announced he is returning to competitive Dota 2, and Nigma Galaxy managed to sign Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan, forming a strong foundation.

Now, weeks later, Nigma Galaxy finalised the lineup with Ghost and rmN-, forming a complete lineup ahead of the 2024 season.

Ghost and rmN-Finalise Nigma Galaxy Roster

Ghost joins Nigma Galaxy as a free agent. The 25-year-old was last seen competing with Xtreme Gaming in the China Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) and had previously spent stints with Royal Never Give Up and Sparking Arrow Gaming.

The Malaysian player was previously a part of the Nigma Galaxy organisation when he played for the Nigma Galaxy SEA team, which disbanded in October 2022.

He will link up with rmN-, who transitioned from coaching to playing to fill in the last vacant spot on the Nigma Galaxy roster. The German Dota 2 player joined Nigma Galaxy as a coach in November 2019 when he left Team Liquid.

Despite having a plethora of experience in the Dota 2 scene, rmN- hasn't played professionally since April 2018, when he left Goin in. So, while rmN- was confirmed as a Nigma Galaxy player, it's likely that the team will look for a more permanent solution.

Nigma Galaxy will showcase their new roster at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024: MENA Closed Qualifier, set to kick off on January 11, 2024.
