Following a major roster overhaul of MAD Lions ahead of the 2024 League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) season, Yasin "Nisqy" Dinçer has found himself without a team. However, the 25-year-old has reportedly already found a new home for the next season.

According to recent reports, Nisqy has agreed to join SK Gaming, where he'll continue his LoL esports career, which started in January 2015. Since his pro debut, the Belgian mid laner has played for a dozen teams, including Splyce, Cloud9, Fnatic, and MAD Lions, with whom he recently attended the LoL World Championship 2023.

Last season marked one of Nisqy's most successful to date as he won the LEC 2023 Spring Playoffs. With that, he became only fourth player in history to win a title in both the LEC and the LoL Championship Series (LCS), after Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen, Luka "Perkz" Perković, and Sergen "BrokenBlade" Çelik.

Next year, Nisqy will reportedly join SK Gaming, an organisation that has struggled to accomplish much in the European league over the last few years. SK Gaming entered the LEC in 2019 and have since not come close to winning a single title.

Their best result was a fourth-place finish in the LEC 2023 Winter Playoffs after ending the regular season in third place. So it makes sense for SK to add an experienced mid laner to its roster for 2024 to take on the leadership role and help the squad achieve new heights.

It remains to be seen whether SK Gaming will look to make further roster changes as there are no official announcements of SK Gaming parting ways with any players yet. There are reports that SK's bottom lane, Mads "Doss" Schwartz and Thomas "Exakick" Foucou, will remain with the team, but besides that, SK's 2024 roster remains unknown.
