After winning the LoL World Championship, T1 decided to keep their entire roster together, and it proved to be the right call. The team continued with strong showings early into the LCK 2024 Spring and have managed to win five of their six series so far.

T1's only loss happened on the opening day of the split when T1 slipped against Gen.G. Since then, the Korean side have beaten Kwangdong Freecs, KT Rolster, Hanwha Life Esports, DRX, and OKSavingsBank BRION.

Against weaker opponents, T1 were dominant, and they've only dropped one map across the five wins – against KT Rolster. Overall, T1 have looked great, but it's not like they're unbeatable.

Despite losing 4 games, Dplus KIA have played well in some of their losses. They won a map against KT and Gen.G, and should've probably won at least one map against Hanwha Life Esports. While their record doesn't show it, Dplus KIA are not that weak.

Dplus KIA were bound to have a rough start following the major roster overhaul, and while they've yet to produce anything meaningful, they have the talent to do well. Dplus already showed glimpses of greatness against stronger LCK sides and seem capable of competing against the top teams.

The nearly two-week-long break also gave Dplus some time to prepare the right strategy to beat T1. While it may be too soon to believe Dplus KIA can actually upset T1, they should be able to play another competitive series.
