League of Legends bookmakers have T1 priced as 1.01 favourites to defeat FlyQuest, who enter the match as 13.00 underdogs. This is a huge price to pay for the Korean team, but knowing what they're capable of, T1 are rightly considered the top dogs of this series.

  • T1 are the reigning LoL world champions
  • FlyQuest edged past PSG Talon in the first round
  • T1 are one of the main favourites to win the tournament

Head to Head

T1 and FlyQuest have never met before.

T1 Form

T1 won their opening match of Mid-Season Invitational 2024 against Estral Esports without any issues, but that was expected. However, even though T1 won, they played very sloppy, especially in game one.

It was their first match of the tournament, so T1 deserve some slack for lacklustre showing, but that doesn't prove T1 have now warmed up. The Korean squad are notorious for slow starts in international events, especially this iteration of the roster, and while it's only a matter of time before T1 will play themselves into form, it could take longer than just two games.

T1 Squad & Team News

No changes for T1.

  • Choi "Zeus" Woo-je – top lane
  • Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun – jungle
  • Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok – mid lane
  • Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong – ADC
  • Ryu "Keria" Min-seok – support

FlyQuest Form

FlyQuest started MSI 2024 with a 2-1 victory against PSG Talon, which sounds very promising, but that game should be taken with a grain of salt. PSG Talon didn't play well on the day and looked very out of character, so even though FlyQuest won the series, they didn't play particularly well.

They had some moments, namely the early game in the third map, but overall, FlyQuest showed little and only won because PSG Talon made way too many errors. But even had FlyQuest defeated PSG Talon on a good day, that doesn't prove they are ready to face T1, who are one of the strongest LoL esports teams in the world.

FlyQuest Squad & Team News

FlyQuest have not announced any changes.

  • Gabriël "Bwipo" Rau – top lane
  • Kacper "Inspired” Słoma – jungle
  • Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen – mid lane
  • Fahad "Massu" Abdulmalek – ADC
  • Alan "Busio" Cwalina – support

T1 are undeniably a much stronger team than FlyQuest, who probably shouldn't have won their last clash against PSG Talon. However, T1 don't deserve to be priced as such big favourites, after what they showed against Estral Esports.

Even though FlyQuest are way underrated at 13.00, I don't see them winning the match. On the other side, FlyQuest to keep the maps within ten kills seems more than achievable.
