Global Esports vs ZETA DIVISION Predictions

Global Esports and ZETA DIVISION will meet on Saturday, April 6, in the first round of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Pacific Stage 1. It'll mark their third meeting of the season after the two squads already clashed in the VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff.

Valorant bookmakers have ZETA DIVISION priced as 1.33 favourites to defeat Global Esports, who enter the match as 3.25 underdogs. This makes sense, considering ZETA DIVISION already defeated Global Esports twice this season; however, it's not like they've accomplished much more so far.

  • ZETA DIVISION are 2-0 up in the head-to-head on the year
  • Global Esports have won just one of three games played in VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff
  • Clash of two struggling teams

Head to Head

ZETA DIVISION and Global Esports met twice during VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff, and ZETA DIVISION won both series.

  • ZETA DIVISION 2-0 – February 18, 2024
  • ZETA DIVISION 2-0 – February 21, 2024

Global Esports Form

Global Esports made several roster changes before the 2024 Valorant season, forming an international roster of players from six different countries. However, the project didn't work out as intended, as Global Esports failed to show much in VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff.

They ended the season-opening tournament in seventh-ninth place with a 1-2 record. While Global Esports defeated Bleed Esports, they suffered two 0-2 losses against ZETA DIVISION in Group A, thus missing the chance to qualify for the playoffs and fight for a spot at the Masters.

Judging a team based on just three series doesn't make much sense, as this is a very small sample size. However, since Global Esports lost to ZETA DIVISION twice, it's fair to take those results into account when figuring out how this match will go.

Global Esports Squad & Team News

No new changes for Global Esports.

ZETA DIVISION started the 2024 Valorant esports season with a sixth-place finish in VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff, where they made it through the group stage only to crumble in the Playoffs. Throughout the tournament, ZETA DIVISION have shown some promise, but they've only beaten Global Esports (twice), while their only other accomplishment was winning a map from T1.

ZETA DIVISION didn't look particularly good last season either, and in the pre-season events, they've not accomplished much. Like Global Esports, ZETA DIVISION are not expected to win or come close to winning the VCT 2024 Pacific Stage 1; however, while they're relatively weak, ZETA DIVISION at least have a strong head-to-head record against Global Esports.

ZETA DIVISION Squad & Team News

ZETA DIVISION defeated Global Esports twice in the VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff, and both series ended with ZETA DIVISION coming out ahead with a comfortable lead. Against other teams, ZETA DIVISION didn't look nearly as good, so it's more than fair to say that ZETA DIVISION are one of the league's weakest teams.

They proved to be stronger than Global Esports, but since this is a match between two VCT 2024 Pacific bottom-feeders, I like Global Esports on the map handicap way more. ZETA DIVISION, as weak as they have proven to be, are not to be trusted.
