Brazilian Valorant esports team LOUD has reportedly landed former FURIA Esports player  Gabriel "qck" Lima, who will join the team as the fifth and final player for the 2024 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) season. Qck will join LOUD as a replacement for Erick "aspas" Santos, who left the team in September.

Although yet to be officially confirmed, the Brazilian Valorant team has reached a verbal agreement with qck, who is set to become the fifth member of LOUD's active Valorant roster as a replacement for aspas. Originally a Jett player, qck was forced to play flex during his recent stint at FURIA Esports, and will he now get to return to his original role at LOUD.

The news of LOUD striking a deal with qck comes just a day after it was revealed that LOUD will not continue with head coach Daniel "fRoD" Montaner, who will leave the team ahead of the VCT 2024 season. So, while LOUD has seemingly found a player to fill in the gap in the roster, it still needs to find a new head coach to lead the team into the next season.

Qck is set to join LOUD as one of the best Valorant players in the region and a key member of FURIA Esports, with whom he played since 2021. However, qck was removed from the active roster in August after FURIA Esports's shaky performances at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo (ninth-16th) and VCT 2023: Americas League (sixth).

With qck's signing, LOUD will look much different in the 2024 VCT season, but keep ahold of the core, which placed second at LOCK//IN São Paulo and ended the season with a fifth-place finish at VCT Champions 2023.

So far this offseason, LOUD has already parted ways with aspas; however, unlike in 2022, when LOUD released Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi and Bryan "pANcada" Luna, it doesn't seem like LOUD will make any more significant moves.

The 2024 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) season is set to begin in February 2024, giving qck plenty of time to settle in with his new teammates and a new head coach, who has yet to be announced.
