Valorant bookmakers have Fnatic priced as 1.53 favourites and Natus Vincere as 2.37 underdogs for the upcoming series. But considering the two teams have looked equally as good over the season, that price doesn’t seem right.

  • Fnatic are 3-2
  • Natus Vincere are 3-1
  • Both teams flipped in the previous round

Head to Head

Fnatic and Natus Vincere have yet to meet this season.

Natus Vincere Form

Natus Vincere have been playing well since the start of the 2024 Valorant esports season. They placed top four in VCT 2024: EMEA Kickoff with just one defeat against Team Heretics, and managed to win their first three games of VCT 2024: EMEA Stage 1.

Their only loss of the stage happened in the previous round, when Natus Vincere lost against the surging BBL Esports (1-2), ending their streak of dominance. While that loss puts a huge question on whether Natus Vincere really are one of the top teams in the league, their previous success is good enough of an indication that they’re a very dangerous squad.

Natus Vincere Squad & Team News

Natus Vincere have not announced any changes.

  • Dmitry "SUYGETSU" Ilyushin
  • Pontus "Zyppan" Eek
  • Andrey "Shao" Kiprsky
  • Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks

Fnatic Form

Fnatic were the strongest European Valorant esports team of 2023, as they were nearly unstoppable both domestically and internationally. But this season, Fnatic have not shown the same form.

They didn’t reach VCT 2024: Masters Madrid and Fnatic have managed just three wins from the five series played in VCT 2024: EMEA Stage 1, with losses to Team Heretics and FUT Esports, and wins against GIANTX, Gentle Mates, and KOI.

Even though Fnatic have a positive win rate, they’ve only beaten three weak teams and lost against two of EMEA’s strongest squads. And if that’s any indication, Fnatic shouldn’t be considered one of the main title contenders.

Fnatic Squad & Team News

No changes for Fnatic.

Verdict

Fnatic don't look nearly as dangerous this season as they did in 2023 and there are many reasons for it. One of the biggest is their map pool, which isn't that great. Natus Vincere aren't a perfect team and they also tend to perform worse on specific maps, but compared to Fnatic, they're stable.

Natus Vincere have also beaten stronger teams this split than Fnatic, who really haven't shown much. So even though Fnatic are still respected for what they accomplished in 2023, they're clearly weaker than Natus Vincere.
