Set to begin on Friday, May 23, CDL 2025 Major 4 is the final Major of the 2025 season and the final opportunity for the teams to collect enough points to receive invites for the season-culminating CDL Championship 2025.

Hosted at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, CDL 2025 Major 4 will welcome all 12 CoD esports teams, who will battle it out in a double-elimination bracket for the coveted trophy and the lion’s share of the $375,000 prize pool.

With 18 best-of series scheduled for May 23-25, CDL 2025 Major 4 will offer esports fans plenty to look forward to and many betting opportunities to explore with the best betting sites.

CDL 2025 Major 4 Format

CDL 2024 Major 4 will use the same competitive format as the first three Majors of the season.

The tournament will feature all 12 CDL teams who were seeded into a double-elimination bracket based on their placement in the online stage.

The top eight teams were placed in the upper bracket quarterfinals, while the bottom four were seeded into the lower bracket Round 1, where they await their opponents.

The teams will play a best-of-five (BO5) series throughout the bracket stage until the grand final, which is best-of-seven (BO7).

CDL 2025 Major 4 Favourites

The reigning Major champions, Los Angeles Thieves (2.00), are the leading favourites to win CDL 2025 Major 4, having shown incredible consistency throughout the season and especially in the latter two stages.

While their run through the online stage was slightly underwhelming, LA Thieves have retained their tag as the top dogs ahead of the final Major of the season.

Sitting close behind the top favourites are Atlanta FaZe (3.50) who won the first two Majors of the season, before suffering an early elimination in Major 3 (fifth-sixth).

That minor hiccup, however, was succeeded by a strong performance in the online stage, indicating that they are more than ready to claim their third crown of the season.

LA Thieves and FaZe are the leading two contenders to win CDL 2025 Major 4, well ahead of OpTic Texas (6.50), Toronto Ultra (7.50), and Vancouver Surge (8.50), who are the only remaining squads priced at single digits.

OpTic are a surprise appearance in the top-three as they’ve struggled over the last two stages. However, OpTic found much more success in Stage 4 with a new player, proving they belong among the elite few.

On the other hand, Toronto Ultra, who placed third in the last two Majors, lost a lot of the momentum and enter the CDL 2025 Major 4 with a huge question mark above their head.

The same applies to Vancouver Surge, who reached the grand finals in the last two Majors, but started to show cracks in Stage 4, indicating they have lost some of the momentum gained over the last two stages.

Miami Heretics (11.00) are priced as underdogs, but had an excellent run in CDL 2025 Major 4 Qualifiers, but have yet to prove themselves against top teams on LAN, which explains why they’re not higher up the power rankings.
