VALORANT Champions Tour Tips & Streams
VALORANT is one of the world's most popular first-person shooter esports titles and a massive hit in the online betting community, as millions of punters bet on their favourite teams. Most of the VALORANT betting, however, revolves around its premier series, the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT).
Established in 2020, the VCT is the main global competitive esports tournament series, which hosts leagues and events throughout the year and across all regions of the world. Due to its popularity, it is extremely well covered by all online betting sites, ensuring that punters can easily access VCT markets on traditional or crypto betting sites.
Here is everything you need to know about the VCT and how to bet on the VALORANT Champions Tour.
What is the VALORANT Champions Tour?
VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) is a global competitive tournament for Riot Games' first-person shooter, VALORANT. Founded in 2020, the VCT series runs multiple events throughout the year, with separate regional leagues and international tournaments.
Each season includes Major tournaments and the season-culminating VALORANT Champions – the top-tier event of the tour, which serves as a world championship.
The VCT tour revolves around international franchised leagues based in the Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China. VCT China is the most recent league added to the VCT in 2024 and has since been incorporated into the competitive scene.

VALORANT Champions Tour Format & Structure
VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) was founded in 2020 and ran its first season in 2021. Since the inaugural season, a lot has changed, more notably in 2024, when Riot Games added VCT China as the fourth region of the series.
A VCT season revolves mostly around the regional leagues (VCT China, EMEA, Americas, and Pacific), which are divided into three stages – Kickoff, Stage 1, and Stage 2.
Following the conclusion of each stage, the top-performing teams qualify for international tournaments, which include two Masters events (between Kickoff and Stage 1 and Stage 1 and Stage 2) and the season-culminating VALORANT Champions, held after Stage 2.
Stage 1 Masters features the champions and runners-up of each of the four regional leagues. Stage 2 Masters expands the number of participants from eight to 12 to include champions, runners-up, and third-placed teams from each VCT league.
The season-ending VALORANT Champions opes four more slots, featuring 16 VALORANT esports teams – including first-fourth-placed squads from each regional league.
