ALGS Championship Format
The ALGS Championship is a shorter event, which plays out over three days and is divided into three stages.
The international Apex Legends tournament begins with the group stage, where all 40 squads are divided into four groups of 10 each and compete in a round-robin format, where each group plays against the other group.
Each team plays a three-match series for a total of 18 games.
The top 20 teams advance to the winner's bracket while the bottom 20 proceed to the losers' bracket round 1.
The Bracket Stage is divided into three stages – Winners Bracket, Losers Bracket Round 1, and Losers Bracket Round 2.
The Winners Bracket features the top 20 teams from the group stage, where they play in one Match Series, and the top 10 teams proceed to the Final. The bottom 10 teams drop to the Losers Bracket Round 2.
Losers Bracket Round 1 features the bottom 20 teams from the group stage, who play one Match series to determine which 10 teams proceed to Losers Bracket Round 2 and which 10 get eliminated.
The Losers Bracket Round 2 welcomes the top 10 teams from Losers Bracket Round 1 and the bottom 10 from the Winners bracket, who play in 1 Match Series to determine which 10 advance to the Finals.
The Finals (playoffs) feature 20 teams who compete in the Match Point Format, where the team that hits 50 points first and then secures a 1st-place finish gets crowned the winner.
The remaining teams are ranked based on the total points won.
