Stage 1 will use a Swiss System format group, and all games played as best-of-one (BO1), except for the elimination and advancement matches, which are best-of-three (BO3).

The top eight teams will proceed to Stage 2, while the eight teams that lose three games will be eliminated.

Stage 2 will use the same format as Stage 1 and offer eight tickets for Stage 3, where the top-performing squads of the second stage will meet with the eight highest-rated teams on VRS.

Stage 3 will follow the same format as the first two stages and give eight tickets for the playoffs.

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 playoffs are single-elimination, with all matches, including the grand final, played as best-of-three (BO3).

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 will welcome 32 of the world’s best Counter-Strike 2 teams from all over the world.

The list of attending squads includes those who received direct invites based on their Valve Regional Standings (VRS) position and 16 teams who secured their invites via regional qualifiers in Europe, North America, South America, Mongolia & West Asia, China, and Oceania & SEA.

The 16 teams that fought through qualifiers will begin their BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 campaign in Stage 1. Meanwhile, the 16 teams that received invites based on VRS will be seeded into Stage 2 and Stage 3.
