Scheduled for April 16-19, YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 was initially planned to be hosted on LAN but was transformed into an online event due to the congested Counter-Strike 2 competitive schedule, as the event runs alongside BLAST.tv Austin Major MRQs.

Despite the transition to online, which should help teams better manage both responsibilities, seven of the top-rated teams who originally confirmed their attendance at YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 decided to withdraw.

As confirmed on April 11, Aurora Gaming, Astralis, paiN Gaming, Virtus.pro, 3DMAX, MIBR, and Complexity all cancelled their participation in the YaLLa Compass-organised competition.

They were replaced by Passion UA, GTZ.Esports, Team Spirit Academy, GUN5 Esports, Dynamo Eclot, Metizport, and Nexus Gaming. The seven squads joined ENCE, Nemiga Gaming, BetBoom Team, 9Pandas, and Partizan Esports to round up a new 12-team list.

YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 will have two stages – the group stage and playoffs.

For the group stage, the 12 Counter-Strike 2 teams will be divided into two round-robin groups of six. All group stage fixtures will be best-of-one (BO1), with the top three teams advancing to the playoffs.

The Playoffs are single-elimination, with all matches, including the grand final, played as best-of-three (BO3).

Even though the YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 field has weakened with the withdrawal of seven squads, the tournament promises to deliver four days of exciting action for esports fans to enjoy and bet on with the best esports betting sites.
