On Monday, October 21, Into the Breach announced the departure of Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas. The 20-year-old leaves the British esports organisation after a three-month stint, having spent the last two months benched.

BOROS has been with Into the Breach since July 10, 2024, when he joined the team from Team Falcons following the Saudi squad's major roster overhaul.

However, he has not stayed on ITB's Counter-Strike starting lineup for long, as BOROS got benched just over a month later to make room for Hristiyan "REDSTAR" Pironkov.

His benching came due to performance reasons, with ITB stating that things were not working out. Since then, BOROS has remained sidelined and has not appeared in a single official match for Into the Breach, waiting for his opportunity to return to the competitive scene.

During his stint with Into the Breach, BOROS has played just 16 fixtures and averaged a 0.99 performance rating with a 57.9% map win rate. BOROS's 41-day stint with Into the Breach coincided with the team's lacklustre results, on which Owen "smooya" Butterfield commented that the team's work ethic was pathetic.

It is unclear what lays in future for BOROS, who has yet to comment on his plans. However, he has stated that he is looking to join a team and is fully committed to proving himself.

Into the Breach was BOROS' seventh stop of his esports career, which started in early 2019.

He has, over the last five years, played for Coercion eSports, FATE Academy, NASR Esports, ENDPOINT, Monte, and Team Falcons, before joining Into the Breach.

Over the five years, the 20-year-old has accumulated a few B-Tier tournament titles, mostly in early 2023, when he was a part of Monte, with whom BOROS reached the BLAST quarterfinals.tv Paris Major 2023.

His most notable accomplishment in Counter-Strike 2 came in early 2024 when BOROS helped Team Falcons reach the semifinals of Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2024, just a week before getting benched from the team.
