On Saturday, October 12, Copenhagen Wolves announced Andreas "aNduu" Maasing as the latest addition to their Counter-Strike roster. The 19-year-old joins the team on an eight-month loan from GamerLegion and will debut for Copenhagen Wolves next week.
The 19-year-old is the third new addition to the roster in a month, following the arrival of Pere "sausol" Solsona and Sean "eraa" Knutsson. He fills in the gap left behind by Frederik "Fessor" Sørensen, who was benched on October 7.
The recent rebuild sees Hubert "szejn" Światły as the only remaining player on the roster, which Copenhagen Wolves announced in December 2023, when the Danish esports organisation re-entered the Counter-Strike esports scene.
Since then, Copenhagen Wolves have not found much success in their competitive endeavours.
Currently ranked no.77 on the global Counter-Strike standings, Copenhagen Wolves peaked at the end of September when they reached no.76 spot after a ninth-16th-place finish at CCT Season 2 European Series #12.
The lack of success also drove the team to start rebuilding – a process which started in September and culminated with the arrival of aNdu.
The 19-year-old Estonian player joins Copenhagen Wolves from GamerLegion, who benched aNdru ahead of the Shanghai Major RMR.
Graduate of the GamerLegion academy roster, aNdu has, despite his eventual benching, quickly found his place with the new lineup and averaged a positive 1.05 performance rating in the first three months.
He made his last appearance at CCT Season 2 Europe Series 11, where GamerLegion placed second, and has previously helped his team placed second in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 10.
The 19-year-old will debut for Copenhagen Wolves in Winline Insight Season 6, on Sunday, October 13, when Copenhagen Wolves clash with 9INE.
