Ninjas in Pyjamas Bench Brollan
- Ludvig “Brollan “Brolin has been officially benched by Ninjas in Pyjamas
- The 21-year-old was already missing from the roster over the next few days
- NiP replaced Brolland with Max “maxster” Jansson who will continue as stand-in

Ludvig “Brollan “Brolin
On Saturday, October 28, Ninjas in Pyjamas announced the second Counter-Strike roster change. Just days after parting ways with in-game leader Hampus "hampus" Poser, NiP also revealed the benching of Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin, who steps down from the team after one year and a half.
As confirmed by Ninjas in Pyjamas, Brollan is now officially benched from NiP’s Counter-Strike roster. The 21-year-old already missed a few games at Roobet Cup 2023 and ThunderPick World Championship, where he was replaced by Max “maxster” Jansson, who has been confirmed as a temporary stand-in.
While maxster was called in to replace Brollan, he isn’t expected to be offered a permanent contract by the Swedish esports organisation and will be replaced as soon as NiP find a new in-game leader to replace hampus.
Brollan has been a part of Ninjas in Pyjamas since March 2022 when he was brought in from Fnatic and was at the time considered one of the best Swedish players in the scene. However, despite his tag as a elite talent, he has failed to live up to his name as a star during his stint with NiP.
Since joining Ninjas in Pyjamas, Brollan has averaged a 1.06 performance rating, a slight drop from his four-year-stint with Fnatic, where he averaged a 1.10 rating. Some of it likely has to do with NiP’s decision to transition to an English-speaking roster, which Brollan wasn’t a fan of and already expressed his disattisfacion with the move while he was a part of Fnatic.
Brollan’s benching marks the second roster changes NiP have made this month, and it comes just days after Nip decided to bench hampus. Since then, NiP re-signed Patrick “es3tag” Hansen, but the team still needs to find a new in-game leader.
For now, NiP appointed es3tag as the team’s captain, however, isn’t expected for the Dane to step away from the position as soon as NiP finds a permanent replacement.
