100 Thieves vs Dignitas Predictions
100 Thieves and Dignitas are set to clash on Friday, August 30, in the Round 2 lower bracket at League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) 2024 Championship. It will mark their second meeting of the playoffs, and like the first one, the rematch is expected to end in 100T's favour.

100 Thieves are 1.40 favourites with the best LoL bookmakers to secure their second head-to-head victory, while Dignitas are 2.70 outsiders for the upcoming affair. This comes as a bit of a surprise, namely because the two teams haven't looked that much different throughout the summer split.
- 100 Thieves swept Dignitas just under two weeks ago
- Both sides ended the regular season tied at 3-4
- Dignitas have the tools to do well
Head to Head
Dignitas and 100 Thieves have met twice so far this split, each winning one series.
- Dignitas 2-0 100 Thieves – June 23, 2024
- 100 Thieves 3-0 Dignitas – August 17, 2024
100 Thieves Form
100 Thieves ended the regular season in fifth place with a 3-4 record, which isn't great. They proved to be much better than the bottom two teams in Immortals and Shopify Rebellion but remained a tier below the top three contenders.
This applies to all teams who placed fourth and below, as there really wasn't much to set them apart quality-wise. This was very evident in 100 T's defeats against Liquid, FlyQuest, and Cloud9, and more notably, their crushing loss against Liquid in the previous round of the LCS 2024 Championship.
100 Thieves Squad & Team News
No roster changes for 100 Thieves.
- Rayan "Sniper" Shoura – top lane
- Kim "River" Dong-woo – jungle
- Lim "Quid" Hyeon-seung – mid lane
- Frank "Tomo" Lam – ADC
- Bill "Eyla" Nguyen – support
Dignitas Form
Dignitas, like 100 Thieves, ended the regular season with a 3-4 record, which included a 2-0 sweep of 100 Thieves. However, despite their success, Dignitas failed to emulate it in the opening round of the playoffs, when they lost in three maps.
It was an atrocious showing from Dignitas, who played significantly worse than during the regular season. While this might sound concerning, one poor game doesn't prove Dignitas aren't fit to produce a competitive game against 100 Thieves this week.
They edged past NRG (3-2) in the first round of the lower bracket, where Dignitas didn't show any substantial improvement, but they still performed better than in the upper bracket. And knowing the teams are fairly equal talent-wise, it's fair to believe Dignitas will do better on Friday.
Dignitas Squad & Team News
No changes for Dignitas.
- Eric "Licorice" Ritchie – top lane
- Mingyi "Spica" Lu – jungle
- Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen – mid lane
- Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen – ADC
- Jonah "Isles" Rosario – support
Verdict
Dignitas got whopped by 100 Thieves just under two weeks ago, so it makes some sense that bookmakers have them priced as substantial underdogs for the rematch. Yet that is assuming Dignitas won't improve upon that display – which is doubtful.
It was one of Dignitas' worst performances of the split, so it is fair to assume they just had an off-day; therefore, Dignitas should do better on Friday. And if they avoid shooting themselves in the foot, then it is more than fair to say the rematch will be much closer.
