Complexity are 1.30 favourites to defeat Metzport, who are priced as 3.40 underdogs with the top Counter-Strike bookmakers. This makes a lot of sense, as Complexity are much higher-ranked than Metizport and one of the leading candidates to end their side of the bracket in first place.

Complexity enter BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024 following a rough performance at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2024, where they placed ninth-12th following two losses against MOUZ (0-2) and Team Liquid (0-2).

They did, however, defeat ALTERNATE aTTaX (2-0), Eternal Fire (2-0), and Virtus.pro (2-0) without many issues so it's not fair to criticise them too much. Even a week prior, Complexity performed well at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024 with wins against HEROIC (2-0), OG (2-1) and decent showings against Team Spirit (1-2) and Natus Vincere (0-2).

As those results prove, Complexity are not quite as good as elite Counter-Strike teams, but they are up there.

Metizport Form

Metizport won Pelaajat.com Nordic Masters Fall 2024 at the start of the month, but they have not shown much in the handful of tournaments prior. Even winning Pelaajat.com Nordic Masters doesn't prove much outside that the Swedish Counter-Strike esports team are in good form.

With a 8-3 record over their last 11 series, Metizport have done well for themselves, but they've also not beaten any great teams over that stretch so it's unlikely they'll have an easy time against Complexity.

Metizport have also recently lost to Sashi Esports (14-16) and TSM (0-2), which isn't a good look.

Complexity v Metizport

Complexity are not exactly known for their consistency, but they have been playing well of late and have had enough opportunities to improve when faced with much tougher opponents. Metizpoort, on the other side, showed some good things earlier this month but mostly against weaker teams, so their success likely won't translate to Thursday.

Complexity should not be losing games like this, and it's not fair to expect them to.
