It wasn’t the best showing from Dplus KIA, but this doesn’t take away from the fact that this is a very talented team with an incredible ceiling. The only issue is that they have seemingly not figured it out yet.

Ahead of this match, Dplus KIA don’t seem to be in the best spot as they are up against a team who beat them twice this split already. Still, their last meeting was fairly close, so it is not entirely unlikely Dplus KIA can get their revenge this weekend.

T1 remain a serious threat to win the LCK trophy as long as they figure things out – granted the same applies for Dplus KIA. So, we are looking at a match between two capable LoL esports rosters who are not playing at their best and there is no telling which of the two will step up on the day.

T1 will, however, have side choice, which bumps them up a bit and could explain why they are priced as favourites. Still, stats-wise, T1 are not that much stronger.

Dplus KIA v T1

While T1 have a much better history in LCK playoffs than Dplus KIA, but they’ve hardly looked any better over the last few weeks. Even in their most recent series, T1 looked completely lost and seem like they’ve yet to find the needed traction to produce a deep run.

This could be a very competitive series, which should end in favour of the team who pick up the win on offside. The draft difference is another factor that will play a role here, but without any major variable, this looks closer to 50/50 than anything else.
