ESL Pro League Season 20 is set to begin on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The tournament will run until Sunday, September 22, when the top two teams will clash in the grand final.

ESL Pro League Season 20 Format


The tournament will follow the same competitive format as the last iteration of the ESL Pro League, dividing all 32 participating teams into four groups of eight for the first stage of the tournament.

The groups will be triple-elimination, with all matches played as best-of-three. The top four teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, with the winners securing a direct bye to the quarterfinals.

Second placed teams from each group will proceed to Round of 12 as high seeds, while the third and fourth-placed teams proceed to Round of 16 as high and low seeds, respectively.

The playoffs will feature just 16 Counter-Strike esports teams, seeded into a single-elimination bracket. All playoff matches are best-of-three (BO3), excluding the grand finals, which are best-of-five (BO5).
