Despite the lack of accomplishments, Imperial are in decent form, having recently beaten Sharks Esports, Team Solid, and paiN Gaming. However, they’ve also lost to RED Canids and insanity, which is not too inspiring.

Ninjas in Pyjamas have been struggling a lot of late. Since beating HEROIC in the first round of ESL Pro League Season 20, NiP have lost seven straight games against Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, HEROIC, ARCRED, ECSTATIC, B8, and JANO Esports.

Things can not get much worse for NiP, who have not only struggled in recent months but failed to show much in August, outside of their two upset wins against Cloud9 and FaZe Clan at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024.

Imperial Esports are priced as favourites, which is not too shocking. However, this mainly has to do with how weak Ninjas in Pyjamas have looked rather than how good Imperial Esports have been. So betting on Imperial is more betting against NiP than anything else.

At this number, however, that does not make much sense. Ninjas in Pyjamas might’ve been struggling, but Imperial Esports have not shown much lately, especially with their losses against insanity and RED Canids.

On the other hand, Ninjas in Pyjamas are only good on Ancient, which Imperial Esports regularly ban, so it’s not too crazy to believe this series ends in a 2-0 sweep.
