Natus Vincere and Team Spirit are both priced at 1.88, with the top Counter-Strike bookmakers, suggesting that this should be a very competitive series with no clear favourite. Given what the two teams have shown so far, that sounds like a fair assessment, yet there can only be one winner.
- Team Spirit are 4-0 up in the head-to-head
- Natus Vincere (#2) are better ranked than Spirit (#3)
- Natus Vincere looked better in the group stage
Head to Head
Team Spirit and Natus Vincere have met four times this year and all four clashes ended in Spirit's favour.
- Team Spirit 2-1 Natus Vincere – February 3, 2024
- Team Spirit 2-1 Natus Vincere – March 22, 2024
- Tea Spirit 2-0 Natus Vincere – May 28, 2024
- Team Spirit 3-0 Natus Vincere – June 16, 2024
Natus Vincere Form
Natus Vincere enjoyed a straightforward path through the ESL Pro League Season 20 group stage. They bested Lynn Vision, Natus Vincere, and Eternal Fire and won their group without dropping a single map.
They did, however, have a couple of close calls, as NaVi needed overtime against Lynn Vision and Eternal Fire, granted that was to be expected as Natus Vincere are known for slow starts to tournaments.
Prior to ESL Pro League Season 20, NaVi also showed excellent form at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2024, where they placed second, just one month after winning the Esports World Cup 2024. In between the two accomplishments, NaVi posted a less-inspiring result with a fifth-sixth place finish at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024, proving what we already know – Natus Vincere can be a bit up-and-down at times.

Team Spirit Form
Team Spirit were billed as one of the favourites to win ESL Pro League Season 20, but they've not looked like themselves so far. The CIS roster placed third in Group B with a loss against MIBR and three victories against Wildcard, 3DMAX, and The MongolZ – needing overtime to win the latter two.
However, after an unconvincing display in the group stage, Team Spirit shifted into a higher gear in the playoffs and defeated FURIA Esports and Imperial Esports with clean sweeps. While there were come close calls in Spirit's last two outings, they have not shown many weaknesses.
Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov, in particular, was great, averaging 1.36 and 1.47 performance ratings in the last two, ahead of Spirit's top player, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, who remains the tournament's highest-ranked player with a 1.50 average across 15 maps.

Verdict
Natus Vincere have yet to defeat Team Spirit this year, and yet they're priced at the same odds for this series. This makes some sense, as Spirit did not look too good in the group stage, but that does not take away from Spirit's improvement in the last two series of the playoffs.
Like Natus Vincere, Spirit have been ramping up and now seem to be in excellent shape, with both donk and sh1ro playing at a very high level. As the teams have similar win rates on all seven maps – except for Inferno and Vertigo, this fixture can easily extend to three maps, which at 1.85 is a solid bet.
