GAM Esports performed well in the play-ins, but in the Swiss Stage, we've not seen much from them. This is a hardly surprising outcome given how weak the VCS is overall, so even though GAM Esports are by far the most dominant team in the Vietnamese LoL esports league, they're still levels below everyone else.

On the other side, GAM have made it this far by performing well enough, so you have to question the LoL betting odds on this match. All these priced at around 1.30 seem way off unless you're talking about one of the tournament favourites clashing with one of the weaker teams.

Still, Liquid have actually looked very good in the Swiss Stage and they had their moments against the two Eastern teams - unlike GAM Esports who've looked toothless against all their recent opponents.

Betting on Liquid at 1.30 might sound a bit brave, however, they've undeniably done well this tournament and arguably don't deserve to sit in the 1-2 bracket. Even against LNG Esports and Weibo Gaming, Liquid have shown a lot of great things, and if they can do that, GAM Esports should not pose much of a threat.

Depending on the day, Liquid should run over GAM Esports, so taking them to cover the map handicap is an appealing choice. A kill handicap wager on their map pick is also worth a look.
