Team Vitality are in excellent form ahead of the second match of BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024. They have now won 12 of their last 13 outings, which includes just one defeat against Eternal Fire in the ESL Pro League Season 20 quarterfinals.

While placing fifth-eighth at ESL Pro League Season 20 was underwhelming from Vitality, who were expected to win the tournament, yet slipped against the surging Turkish side.

This slip-up does not take away from the fact that Vitality are the current no.3 Counter-Strike team in the world, with strong showings over the last two months – including titles from BLAST Fall Groups and Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2024.

Moreover, Vitality demolished Astralis in the opening series of BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 with 26-4. And while Astralis are in a rough spot, Vitality's dominant showing on the day is not to be ignored.

Team Liquid have been ramping up over the last couple of months. While they have yet to win a significant event, Liquid did place top four at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024 and last week ended their ESL Pro League Season 20 campaign in fifth-eighth place.

In Malta, Liquid defeated ENCE, Virtus.pro, and Complexity, while their only two defeats came against Team Vitality and G2 Esports. The series against Vitality was competitive, but less so on the final two maps, on which Vitality won 13-9 and 13-5. Nevertheless, that defeat does not prove Liquid are incapable of upsetting the Bees.

In the first round of BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024, Team Liquid produced another solid series, beating Team Spirit 2-1. It was another close series against an elite team; however, even though Liquid did not dominate the Russian side, they've proven themselves as a threat to any CS side.

Team Vitality are the more accomplished team, and they defeated Liquid not long ago, so it is fair to expect them to do just as well in the rematch. However, Team Liquid are not to be underestimated as they put up a strong fight against Vitality the last time, and they posted a solid performance against Spirit in the first round of BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024.

It won't come easy, but Team Liquid can cause Team Vitality problems.
