Their quality was put on full display in the opening round of IEM Rio 2024, when Vitality ran over 9z Team with 13-3, setting an example for other top-5 ranked teams.

The MongolZ are a competent CS esports team, but they’re not quite up there with the best squads.

They posted a promising 4-3 record at ESL Pro League Season 20 with wins against 3DMAX, BIG, 9z Team, and KOI, and even played close games against two strong CS esports teams, Team Spirit and Eternal Fire.

They continued their strong form in Rio, with a comfortable win against Virtus.pro. However, beating Vitality won't come as easy.

While their past results are commendable, we’ve not seen The MongolZ do well against the top-of-the-foodchain squads, which begs the question of why would it be any different on Tuesday.

Team Vitality v The MongolZ

The MongolZ performed well against Virtus.pro in the first round of the IEM Rio 2024 group stage. Still, beating VP and beating Team Vitality are two entirely different things.

Not only are Vitality in exceptional form, but they are also very efficient in beating weaker teams, so there are not many reasons to doubt their chances to win on Tuesday.
