Weibo Gaming had an extremely promising run through the LPL 2024 Summer Playoffs. They bested Ninjas in Pyjamas (3-1), lost to Bilibili Gaming (0-3), and then picked up two excellent victories against LNG (3-2) and Top Esports (3-2), only to get blasted by BLG (0-3) in the grand final.

It was a painful loss, but it doesn't change the fact that Weibo Gaming performed well against any other top contender in the league. That includes LNG Esports, which begs the question of why are Weibo Gaming priced as underdogs here.

It's also important to note that Weibo Gaming have been ramping up in the knockout stage so there are more reasons to believe in their ability to win rather than LNG Esports getting their revenge. Fatigue could play a factor here as BLG have not had much break. Still, at the current price, Weibo Gaming to win makes the most sense.
